<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt;background:white"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif";color:black">Hi peter,<br>
<br>
To do this job you may use this tool :<br>
<a href="http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/src/read_wrf_nc.f" target="_blank" id="yiv9221176407yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1464322833424_3920">http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/src/read_wrf_nc.f</a><br>
it's easy to use. I don't use NCL for extracting this kind of variables which are directly available from the wrfout file.<br>
<br>
But of course you may use one of the script given on NCL site as the one I joined which I used some time ago<br>
Or use the scripts given here :<br>
<a href="http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/OnLineTutorial/Graphics/NCL/Examples/SPECIAL/meteograms.htm" target="_blank">http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/OnLineTutorial/Graphics/NCL/Examples/SPECIAL/meteograms.htm</a><br>
<br>
Have fun!<br>
Cheers<br>
Thierry<br>
