Hi users

I have made some observations; I am doing 3 test experiments

Exp1 =running wrf standard options

Exp2=running wrf with
kfeta_trigger = 1,

cu_rad_feedback = .true., turned on

Exp3= running wrf with spectral nudging besides other standard options

Observations

the test run is for 5days and model ran until almost last hour and aborts for the 3cases. The error message is Error:

... May have run out of valid boundary conditions in file wrfbdy_d01

Remedy

I commented

&time_control

!run_days = 0,

!run_hours = 96,

!run_minutes = 0,

!run_seconds = 0,

the model ran successfully for all the 3cases.

The problem

the problem is that for nudging cases, the last time in wrfoutput is 2000.03.04.23 instead of 2000.03.05.00. The other two cases went up completion. Secondly restart files are being written at irregular interval 14,10,10,9,10,16,10,16hours for all the cases and yet I had set restart_interval=600 which should be 10hours interval

what could be the problem.? Is it the commenting I did in time control but how comes other cases goes upto completion, I attach namelsit.input for nudging option

This strange!!!!

thanks Afwande
