<div dir="ltr">Does anyone know the difference between the components grid%t_1 and grid%t_2 of the domain type? They both appear in the ideal initialization code, for example in module_initialize_les.F I understand that grid%t_1 is perturbation potential temperature, and in all the ideal initializations grid%t_2 seems to be set equal to grid%t_1. So what is the purpose of having these two components?<div><br></div><div>More generally, does anyone know where I can find the interpretations of all the components of the domain type? For example, I can find t_1 and t_2 in the type definition in module_domain_type.f90, but without comments. This file seems to be automatically generated and when I look in the registry I find t_1 and t_2 but no information as to what they mean. Does the meaning of the components always have to be inferred from context or is there some documentation available somewhere? </div><div><br></div><div>Any help would be appreciated, as would any information about general documentation for the WRF code.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks, Chris </div>
