<p> I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for the following issue. Netcdf-4.1.3 was installed with netcdf-4 disabled. I want to install ncview 2.1.2 (1.93 can't read the wrfout files), so I need to recompile with netcdf-4 enabled. </p>
<p> The problem is that configure fails, with the message that it can't find hdf5. </p>

<p>configure: error: Can't find or link to the hdf5 library. Use --disable-netcdf-4, or see config.log for errors. ( I can send the log if needed.)<br>
