You may want to use a triple nest with the inner domain 5 km or finer, e.g. 45/15/5, 36/12/4, 27/9/3, if your computing resources allow this high resolution. <div style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">I have run WRF to study a typhoon case and the
result shows a good path but an underestimated intensity. Do you know how to
improve the estimated intensity accuracy? </div>

<div style="TEXT-INDENT: 2em">FYI, JMA best track data gives a minimum SLP of
940hPa and a maximum wind speed of 50m/s while my WRF output shows only
960hPa and 30m/s, respectively.</div>
