Hi everyone,

I'm using GFS data as boundary conditions at my WRF. Usually I download
this data from nomads ftp, but sometimes this does not work.
For example, at this link
ftp://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/GFS/Grid4/201308/today's data is not
available. In fact, yesterday's forecasts are still not
totally available.

Is there another source or mirror for this data?

Bests regards.,
Caio Souza

CAMtr_volume_mixing_ratio points to the RCP8.5 file, this is by default in WRF3.5.
This file (CAMtr_...) is supposed to be in output directory while running WRF.exe

How to utilize "CAMtr_volume_mixing_ratio for the RCP4.5"?
This is not like you can define in namelist.
These are the official locations for GFS data:

ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod/
http://www.ftp.ncep.noaa.gov/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod/

There's many more locations for GFS data scattered around the web, but
the above are the best...
