Hi Ashish,<br><br>In my experience, there is one method only. This is produce SST files in WPS (your second method) and then is necessary to activate the sst update option in namelist.input (your first method, including auxinput4... )<br>

What is the correct method to use SST in WRF model.<br>

Method 1: Use auxinput4_inname = "wrflowinp_d<domain>", in namelist.input<br>
with sst_update=1.<br>

OR<br>

Method 2: Produce SST flies in WPS ungrib step and read them together by<br>
metgrid.exe<br>
<br>
Suggestions are welcome!<br>
