Lately I have been paying a closer look in the wrfbdy and wrfinput files and I am puzzled at the magnitudes of the values for the variables in there. For example using NCEP and ECMWF driven fields to force wrf, I get for example T_BXE (potential temperature in K):<div>
<br></div><div>T_BXE(ECMWF) T_BXE(NCEP)<br><div><div>1.39411e+06 115998</div><div>1.81327e+06 188628</div><div>2.24293e+06 260609</div><div>2.73509e+06 331873</div><div>3.80242e+06 402352</div><div>5.01967e+06 471975</div>
<div>6.38229e+06 540656</div><div>7.62647e+06 608314</div><div>8.94308e+06 658105</div><div>1.12288e+07 705334</div><div>1.42254e+07 750532</div><div>1.7384e+07 793558</div><div>-957765 -593769</div><div>-999342 -632783</div>
<div>-1.00038e+06 -633135</div><div>-1.00212e+06 -633681</div><div>.</div></div></div><div>.</div><div>.</div><div><br></div><div>Are these values scaled up in the wrfbdy files and whats up with the negative values?</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thanks for your help...</div><div><br></div><div>Steve</div>
