<p class="MsoNormal">MODIS has been flying for several years now, giving us different land-use datasets for different years. The data contained inside the “standard”
<b>MODIS_geog.tar.gz</b> has timestamps from Oct 2008, while the newer <b>landuse_with_lakes.tar.gz</b> has timestamps from Mar 2011.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone know if the MODIS+Lakes dataset is simply a re-processing of the 2008 MODIS data, or if they used a newer version of the underlying MODIS land-use products? I would like to know what
