<div><strong><span>Salary Level A/B:</span></strong> <span>A$72,675
- A$96,231 per year, plus 17% employer superannuation plus leave
loading.<span> </span> The salary level will be commensurate
with experience.</span></div>

<div><span>Applications are invited from suitably qualified
researchers to join the Climate Change Research Centre on a
project led by Dr Jason Evans to produce <span>an ensemble of
regional climate projections for south-east Australia using
the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) modeling system</span>.
This project is funded by the New South Wales Office of
Environment and Heritage.</span></div>

<div><span>The successful applicant will have relevant experience in
<span>atmospheric modelling, coupled climate modelling, regional
climate modelling and climate variability/change.<span> </span>
An individual with a PhD in quantitative applied mathematics
or physics would also likely be very competitive without
explicit experience in regional climate modelling</span>. The
ideal candidate will also possess demonstrated programming
experience in a Unix/Linux environment (e.g. Fontran 9X, shell
scripts, NCL, R, Matlab).<span> </span></span></div>

<div><span>This is a fulltime, fixed term position for two years
with the possibility of extension to three years.<br>
