are invited for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Waterloo
Centre for Atmospheric Sciences in the Department of Earth and
Environmental
Sciences, University of Waterloo.<span style=""> </span>The
successful candidate will work on a project to investigate the
meteorological
implications of anthropogenic pollution using the WRF/Chem
atmospheric model.<span style=""> </span>The goal is to
explore the effects of
anthropogenic PM on cloud nucleation and precipitation.<span
style=""> </span>The project is funded by a partnership
between Ontario Power Generation and NSERC under the Cooperative
Research and
Development (CRD) program.<span style=""> </span>The candidate
will have the opportunity to interact with other WCAS
researchers who are
working on chemical data assimilation, satellite remote sensing
and Lagrangian
transport modelling.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
