<FONT SIZE="2"><FONT FACE="Consolas, Courier New, Courier"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:10pt'>Applicants are invited for a PhD position (3 years) at the Wind Energy Division at Risoe DTU, Roskilde, Denmark starting mid 2010 as part of the Tall Wind project. The project aims at investigating the wind profile for the whole boundary layer (in the order of 1 km) with the specific purpose to provide improvements for the modeling basis of wind energy assessment calculations.<BR>
The PhD research will focus on micro and boundary-layer meteorology of agricultural, coastal, urban and to minor extent marine sites. Improved theoretical insight on the structure of the boundary layer with emphasis on the wind profile will be achieved through use of RANS and LES modeling techniques.<BR>
