In the em_quarter_ss idealised case, I am unable to switch Coriolis forces off.<br><br>I have flagged both &quot;pert_coriolis&quot; and &quot;do_coriolis&quot; as .false. in namelist.input<br><br>But after running wrf.exe, asymmetries still exist around the bell-shaped hill centred in the middle of the domain. One would think the effect of the hill on the atmosphere should be symmetrical if there is no Coriolis force apparent.<br>
