The work will focus on processes affecting the distribution of pollutants such as aerosols and ozone on urban to global scales. You will work as part of the Atmospheric Dynamics and Air Quality team at CAIR.</DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>You must have a good first degree in a relevant subject and a PhD in atmospheric sciences. Strong experience in the use of advanced models operating on LINUX platforms, programming languages (eg FORTRAN) and visualisation techniques including GIS will be essential. Research experience of using meteorological or air pollution measurement data in combination with model results (eg satellite retrievals, aircraft data, ground based measurements, use of data assimilation techniques) will be a distinct advantage.
