hi,<br>we are trying to use WRF-ARW at an intel based multi-processor
(x86-x64) machine, using linux, PGI compiler (pgf90, pgcc). during the
run of geogrid.exe, the process stopped itself after about an hour
(killed). when we had a look at the geogrid.log to see what the error
was, we saw that interpolation of ALBEDO12M didnt end, and there was
some "inform" at some fields (including albedo). we think that there is
a problem with the interpolation of these fields. this can be because
of the data to be wrong, or something because of seeing or calculating
the data. the log we have is at the end of the message. we tried this
with lots of different domains with different sizes, scales, grid
lengths in domain-wizard and ssh. we had taken the geog data from
wrf-users-download page, and also we downloaded second time for making
sure we had the true data. so we think there is not a problem with it.
at last, after trying many things, we tried deleting ALBEDO12M,
GREENFRAC, SNOALB, SLOPECAT from the geogrid.TBL file. geogrid.exe was
succesful. after that, ungrib.exe, metgrid.exe, real.exe and wrf.exe
were succesful. now, we want to run the model with all fields, (with
those we have deleted, too) why do you think this happened? did anyone
faced such a problem with geogrid.exe? we have a smaller different
problem: we didnt have plotfmt.exe and plotgrids.exe after compiling
WPs. the other utilities exist in our util directory. we thought that
this problem is related with NCL, according to the users guide etc. we
have NCAR Graphics and its library installed in our computer. what can
be the problem?<br>

one more question: how can NETCDF be compiled with PGI-compiler (we
used a pre-compiled one, which we dont know with which compiler it is
compiled).<br>
