Hi Hossain,
The problem should be in the descriptor file (mer.ctl), you should make one
to read the Lambert coordinates. Take a look at the end of this page
http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/SDFdescriptorfile.html
And also, the Lambert projection it's better for mid latitude places as
Australia, and Mercator it's better for places around the equator. So you
should keep trying to use LCC for modeling.
