[Wrf-users] Error in geogrid: WRFCHEM exercise 1

Dear All,

I have now started practicing the WRFCHEM exercises:
http://ruc.noaa.gov/wrf/WG11/wrf_tutorial_exercises_v35/exercise_1.html

I have downloaded the static as well as met files from the ftp link
provided and done the required namelist.wps settings. When I am using the
old static data path (the the dataset obtained from online WRF tutorial) I
am getting the following error:

ce12s023 at c1hn1:~/WRFCHEM/WPS> ./geogrid.exe
Parsed 22 entries in GEOGRID.TBL
Processing domain 1 of 1
ERROR: Could not open /home2/ms/ce12s023/WRFCHEM/geog/erod/index

When I am changing the static data path to the dataset "WRF-CHEM_GFS" obtained
from the ftp link in the wrfchem exercise 1, I am getting the following
error:

ERROR: Could not open /home2/ms/ce12s023/WRF-CHEM_GFS/topo_10m/index

The dataset from wrfchem exercise looks like this:

 1019818000000  1019912000000
1019506000000  1019600000000  1019618000000  1019712000000  1019806000000
 1019900000000  1019918000000
1019512000000  1019606000000  1019700000000  1019718000000  1019812000000
 1019906000000  1020000000000

There is no directory inside like topo_10m. Similarly there is no directory
like EROD in the previous dataset

Looking forward to a solution from your side.
