real.exe failure on debian lenny system

uname -a
Linux 2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP Thu Sep 16 19:35:51 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

any advice would be appreciated

it appears that " ./real.exe: free(): invalid next size (fast): 
0x109b8980 ***" is the issue.
