Hello,

Is anyone out there calculating their own PBL heights for the WRF YSU
scheme? As you could see on any of these loops

http://www.atmos.washington.edu/~ovens/loops/wxloop.cgi?wrfd2_pblht+/3/72/3

the PBLH field is way too low, < 50 m, much of the time in many
locations. Notice in the following loop,

http://www.atmos.washington.edu/~ovens/loops/wxloop.cgi?wrfd2_pblht+2008031112/12/15/1

the abrupt change in PBLH from 5 pm to 8 pm over the land.

Thanks.

David
