We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated scientist to
contribute to research programmes on modelling of atmospheric composition
and air quality. The work will focus on processes affecting the distribution
of pollutants such as aerosols and ozone on urban to global scales. You will
work as part of the Atmospheric Dynamics and Air Quality team at CAIR.

You must have a good first degree in a relevant subject and a PhD in
atmospheric sciences. Strong experience in the use of advanced models
operating on LINUX platforms, programming languages (eg FORTRAN) and
visualisation techniques including GIS will be essential. Research
experience of using meteorological or air pollution measurement data in
combination with model results (eg satellite retrievals, aircraft data,
ground based measurements, use of data assimilation techniques) will be a
distinct advantage. You must have excellent skills in writing and speaking
English and a good track record of publishing high quality papers.
