[Wrf-users] marine wind forecasting

 Dear WRF and MM5 Users,

 Do you know how much can be enhanced the accuracity of the sfc wind
forecast by WRF if 3dvar data assimilation is used? I have WRF
running here and I want very precise forecast. I'm wondering if the
sfc observations can enhance significantly the short term forecast
(0-24 hours).
