"NCAR TIGGE data archive to discontinue at the end of 2014"

The NCAR TIGGE data archive and associated data access portals will discontinue
service at the end of 2014. These inclue http://tigge.ucar.edu and
http://rda.ucar.edu/datasets/ds330.2 . No TIGGE data will be accessible through
either of these portals at the conclusion of 2014. If you would like to keep
accessing TIGGE data, it is recommended that you modify your workflows to use
the ECMWF TIGGE data portal. ECMWF will continue maintaining its operational
archive and portal at: http://apps.ecmwf.int/datasets/data/tigge/
