I see that you mentioned Windows 8 in your original email, but would it perhaps be possible to upgrade to Windows 10? Windows 10 provides <a href="https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/commandline/wsl/about" class="">Bash on Ubuntu on Windows</a>, which allows you to run Linux binaries in a Linux-like environment on Windows. This would let you install a Linux version of conda and continue with the <a href="https://www.pyngl.ucar.edu/Download/" class="">conda installation process</a>.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">If Windows 10 is not an option, then is there a Linux machine you might have access to?
