I'm trying to output the plot to ps or pdf, but ps, pdf and newpdf failed,<br>
eps and epsi creates an correct output file.<br>

Using ps the output file is of size 0.<br>

The mac os x program preview returns an error message that the file is<br>
corrupted. The pdf output file gives the following error message when<br>
opened with ImageMagicks display program:<br>

**** The file has been damaged. This may have been caused<br>
**** by a problem while converting or transfering the file.<br>
**** Ghostscript will attempt to recover the data.<br>

No pages will be processed (FirstPage > LastPage).<br>

**** This file had errors that were repaired or ignored.<br>
**** Please notify the author of the software that produced this<br>
**** file that it does not conform to Adobe's published PDF<br>
**** specification.<br>

Using newpdf gives the following error message running the python script<br>
