and analysis of infrared spectroscopic measurements from remote sensing
(including satellite-based) instruments. <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The focus of the work is the
identification and characterization of atmospheric clouds and aerosols, with
particular emphasis on polar stratospheric clouds, cirrus clouds and aerosols in
the free troposphere. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Preference
will be given to candidates with experience in remote sensing data retrieval and
