position involves the retrieval and analysis of infrared spectroscopic
measurements from remote sensing (including satellite-based)
instruments. <span style=""> </span>The focus of the work is the
identification and characterization of atmospheric clouds and aerosols,
with particular emphasis on polar stratospheric clouds, cirrus clouds
and aerosols in the free troposphere. <span style=""> </span>Preference
will be given to candidates with experience in remote sensing data
retrieval and analysis.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

approximately 25 students and Post Doctoral Fellows working in
laboratory aerosol studies, atmospheric modelling and remote sensing

style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> of </span><st1:PlaceName><span
style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">Waterloo</span></st1:PlaceName></st1:place><span
style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">. <span style=""> </span>Further
