[Oppslist] 2014 Undergraduate Leadership Workshop (ULW) at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)

NCAR, located in Boulder, Colorado, annually hosts up to 20 
undergraduates, who have an aptitude for leadership. These students must 
be nominated by UCAR Member institution faculty or staff and be studying 
at a junior level.

While participating in the ULW, the students examine contemporary 
leadership challenges facing the geosciences community, gain valuable 
knowledge about graduate school and careers, and meet with various 
UCAR/NCAR/UCP and NOAA scientists and engineers.

We are extending the nomination deadline for this summer's NCAR ULW. 
Please consider nominating an undergraduate in your program who you feel 
has the potential to be a professional leader in the geosciences. You 
must provide travel support to and from Boulder for your nominee if 
selected.
