ASSOCIATE OR SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST
University of Wyoming, Department of Atmospheric Science
The Department of Atmospheric Science at the University of Wyoming in
Laramie seeks to hire an atmospheric scientist to lead the University of
Wyoming King Air (UWKA) airborne research scientific effort for
state-of-the-art data sets.

Necessary qualifications include Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences,
engineering or related fields or an equivalent combination of education
and experience; a minimum of seven years experience in airborne
atmospheric measurements and/or related project management; a sustained
record of publication in peer-reviewed journals; a successful record of
leading interdisciplinary groups to accomplish desired objectives; and
successful record of planning for human and financial resources to
achieve program objectives.
This is a new, full-time, non-tenured position. Applicants must have the
willingness and physical ability to travel on extended field assignments
including those to remote and foreign locations, and to fly routinely on
the research aircraft.
