<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px">I have been working with the MODIS AOD data I have attached 5 png files being a plot of each of scan for each satellite pass for a given day as well as the total plot for the entire day. The top panel is the averaged
AOD measurements and the bottom panel is the number of data points for a grid pixle all have bee plotted at dlat=0.025. My question is looking at the data plots in the bottom panel there appear numerous striations in the data. Is this data correct and is this
caused by the limitations of the MODIS sensor or is it caused from something else?</p>
