<div class="">There are new algorithms in the NCL code for calculating wet bulb temperature, but probably one of the fastest accurate calculations available is the Davies-Jones 2008 method.  I coded this up, and it is now part of the Community Land Model version

<div class="">Attached is a the Fortran routine, HumanIndexMod, that is set up to work with NCL (using WRAPIT).  This also calculates the recommended equivalent potential temperature algorithm, too.</div>
