I downloaded the rgb file from the NCL website and tried to put it in </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333;background:white">$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/colormaps.
The errors comes that permission is denied even though I changed the permission of both the path and the file. Does</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333"> anyone have experience on downloading/using new colormaps
in NCL? <span style="background:white">I am using NCL version 6.4.0.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>
