<div>Yes, the user has X11 (2.7.9) running on his machine. What’s odd is that he can run it on a remote machine and it works.</div>

You are able to run X11 clients from your user's host on *your* machine, but does your user have XQuartz installefd on *their* machine? (I'm sorry -- I'm not near a Mac at the moment to test how it behaves if attempting to run an X11 client without the server
installed(?)). <br>
