<div dir="ltr">I am back with the same problem as before: I modified UCAR's script to plot skew-Ts, and I am getting wrong values (about 10-15 degrees C larger than observed) of temperature & dew point at the surface at one location (Cheyenne, WY) on a specific date. I am confident that my problem is not within the script because I can accurately plot profiles for other dates, times, and locations (therefore, I did not attach the script). Now I am wondering if there is a conceptual reason for the RUC to be so inaccurate at this location. For more context, I am looking at this location during supercell activity. It is not necessarily imperative that I be able to use the RUC data for my case, but at the least, I would like to have an idea of what might be wrong.
