But the output image looks really different that it is expected. The yellow patches are almost missing over the regions.<br>
I am using NCL 6.2.1 and also following topo_9.ncl example.<br>
Please look into the enclosed image and suggest.<br>

GDAL will convert that imaqe to NetCDF, and I will send you the result offline. However, as jpeg is simply an image format with no metadata, the variables in the resultant netcdf are just RGB bands.<br>
