<p class="MsoNormal">Since we are not allowed to use any gsn_csm_*_map plotting functions to create the 2<sup>nd</sup> input in overlay, so how can we overlay two polar maps? Any trick?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Say the base is the Antarctic ice, and the second one is the mask both at polar region, and I would like to use the second plot overlay on to the first plot.<o:p></o:p></p>
