<div dir="ltr">Hello, <div><br></div><div>Does anyone have any experience converting grib2 files into a database for a web application, such as MongoDB? </div><div><br></div><div>The objective is to be able to pull data from the dataset on the fly in a web application. For example, a request is made for precipitation as a specific location, so based on lat/lon the precipitation data is grabbed and presented to the user. </div><div><br></div><div>This isn't necessarily an NCL specific question, however, I"m sure it could be done with NCL and a little shell scripting. It does seem, however, that it would be easier to use a database that could be called directly from your web application. So, I'm curious how others have gone about this problem. <br clear="all"><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div><br></div>-- <br>Micah Sklut<br><br>
