<div><ul><li><font face="arial, sans-serif">We fixed a serious bug where assigning a variable as an attribute of another variable caused the original <span>variable's</span> "_<span>FillValue</span>" attribute to be modified.<br>
<br></font></li><li><font face="arial, sans-serif">Possible backwards incompatibility for "<span>isfilepresent</span>": this function has been implemented the way it was originally intended: to check for the existence of a supported file (<span>NetCDF</span>, <span>GRIB</span>, <span>HDF</span>, etc) before trying to open it with <span>addfile</span>.<br>
<br>To check for the existence of any file, regardless of what kind it is, use the new "<span>fileexists</span>" function. <br><br>Older <span>NCL</span> scripts may now fail if you are using "<span>isfilepresent</span>" to check for the existence of any file. Simply change this call to "<span>fileexists</span>" and it should work.</font></li>
