Thank you very much,

by now I have solved it using a bash script...

#!/bin/bash
source $HOME/.bash_profile
namefile.ncl

Hi Enric

That may be a PATH problem, your environment in crontab may be
different from your login shell.
Have you tried to use the full path to ncl ?

I hope this helps,
Gus Correa

Hi:

I found a program called wrf_pv.ncl.

It plots absolute and potential vorticity.

I am wondering if anyone is aware of a similar program that plots

Saturated, geostrophic equivalent potential vorticity (EPVg*) and how I
might do this.

Thank you,

Barry Lynn

It may also be that your NCAR_ROOT is not set when you run via the
crontab or is set differently than you expect. I mention this because
it's happened to me more than once.
