[ncl-talk] Get a contour plot with auto-interpolation

Hi

I have some raingauge station data (say 50 stations). And I have an empty
matrix (which corresponds to a WRF domain matrix) say with 100 x 100 grids
(total of 10,000 grids). Now I know the particular i,j locations where
those raingauge stations are present. I can explicitly fill that empty
matrix with the known values. Still the remaining (10000 - 50) grids will
be empty. Now I want to draw a contour plot out of that data where I get
interpolated data over the grids with no value.

How can I achieve that in NCL? I can surely not fill those empty grids with
zero, because that itself will be a new information which is false.

Your help is solicited.
