It looks like you might have used "yum" or "apt-get" to install NCL at some point, but now you are using a different method to install a newer version of NCL?</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">If so, I think all you need to do is make sure NCARG_NCARG is *not* being set in any of your dot login files. You can check for this by typing (from a UNIX terminal window):</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">grep NCARG_NCARG ~/.*</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">If you see this setting in one of your files, like ~/.profile, or ~/.bashrc, or ~/.bash_profile, or similar, then edit the offending file(s) and remove the line. Then, log out and log back in and rerun the ng4ex command.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Also, you need to be sure that NCARG_ROOT is set properly.
