<p>I tried to run NCL on my computer and one friend told me that NCL can run through NetBean, However, it is always said "NCARG_ROOT environment variable" is missing. I used the guides on websites to set environment variable but failed. How can I set up the

 variable? Also, I downloaded ncl-6.4.0 but how can I link it to the NetBean? </p>
