Based on it being NCL version 6.1.2, it seems like you might have used “sudo apt-get install ncl-ncarg” (6.1.2 the newest version of NCL available on Ubuntu 14.04, which is what Windows 10 Bash uses).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">You may want to try using NCL 6.4.0 from our website: <a href="https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/windows_linux_subsystem.shtml#DownloadNCL" class="">https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/windows_linux_subsystem.shtml#DownloadNCL</a> </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">This version is significantly newer, and it shouldn’t have any of the “$NCARG_ROOT” or “lib/ncarg” related errors once configured.
