<div dir="ltr">Hello,<div><br></div><div>I have had issues troubleshooting an error I get when trying to run any ncl commands on CYGWIN.</div><div><br></div><div>When running commands, I immediately receive the following error output:</div><div>if: missing file name</div><div><br></div><div><div>I've ensured that I have added:</div><div><pre style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;padding:0px;font-size:13.3333px;line-height:16px;font-family:courier;border-style:solid;border-width:0px 0px 15px;border-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0)"> export NCARG_ROOT=/usr/local
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH</pre><pre style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;padding:0px;border-style:solid;border-width:0px 0px 15px;border-color:transparent"><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="white-space:normal">to my .bashrc file.</span></font></pre></div></div><div>A further possibly related issue I have found is when typing "ncl -V" to check the version of ncl installed, there is no output in bash. I have followed the instructions on the <a href="https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/cygwin.shtml#InstallCygwinX">https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/cygwin.shtml#InstallCygwinX</a> website.
