[ncl-install] Error while while running ncargf90: "undefined reference to `ggkwdr_'"

Hi

I encountered the ff problem while running ncargf90 (for hycom, i need
ncargf90 to to plot)

/usr/local/ncarg/lib/libncarg_gks.a(gziqwk.o): In function `gziqwk_':
gziqwk.f:(.text+0x123): undefined reference to `ggkwdr_'
/usr/local/ncarg/lib/libncarg_gks.a(gztowk.o): In function `gztowk_':
gztowk.f:(.text+0x2ce): undefined reference to `ggkwdr_'
gztowk.f:(.text+0x5a2): undefined reference to `ggkwdr_'
gztowk.f:(.text+0x984): undefined reference to `ggkwdr_'
make: *** [hycomproc] Error 1

I have already done:

   cd $NCARG/ncarg2d/src/libncarg_gks
   rm awi/ggkwdr_stub.o
   make all install

as suggested on http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/build_from_src.shtml but
when i rerun I still encountered the same result.

I also tried the unrelated solution for "conflicting types for wchar_t",
but still to no avail (actually additional error was encountered: skipping
incompatible /usr/lib/libm.so when searching for -lm
ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libpthread.so when searching for
-lpthread
ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libc.so when searching for -lc
ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libdl.so when searching for -ldl
ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libc.so when searching for -lc)

I used ifort and icc to build.
