Hi Hauss,

We do have a 4.1.2 binary that was built under RedHat which might work. It's under the "OPeNDAP-enabled" list of binaries:

ncl_ncarg-6.0.0.Linux_RedHat_x86_64_gcc412.tar.gz

If you want 6.1.0-beta, I put a version on ftp.ucar.edu in pub/scd/haley

ncl_ncarg-6.1.0-beta.Linux_RedHat_x86_64_gcc412.tar.gz

Unfortunately, I don't have access to any Debian systems still running gcc 4.1.2.
