[ncl-install] ncl Installation Problem

It looks like you're missing the "curl" package on Cygwin. NCL is built with an OPeNDAP-enabled version of NetCDF, which requires the curl library.

for information on the different Cygwin/X packages that you need in order to run NCL. Under "Net", you'll see the "libcurl-devel" and "libcurl4" packages, which should be installed along with the others mentioned on that page.
