Hi Mary,

Thanks for your reply.

Sourish Basu suggested me to use the precompiled NCL. So I downloaded
a precompiled NCL binary for the website.
There is "ncl" inside and it works. But when I can not use WRAPIT.

Here is the information when I use WRAPIT:

guangshan% WRAPIT calculate_distance_1d.f

WRAPIT Version: 091416
COMPILING calculate_distance_1d.f
LINKING
ld: warning: in calculate_distance_1d.o, file is not of required
architecture
END WRAPIT

I first email this problem to Macport. Nobody answers to me. Do you
know who built this ncarg port for Macport? I built all the external
dependencies one by one using Macport. I think this is why I got the
same problem as I build from source code. Unfortunately, I deleted the
make-outfile now. I will rebuild it sometime today and send it to you
offline.

By the way, when I tried to build the dependencies of NCL, some
dependencies I could not build successfully. What is the pre-required
compliers or dependencies to build the dependencies of NCL?
