[ncl-install] Running NCL on NCAR

Hi all,

I am new in this field and therefore in need some BIG help, I want to run
ncl on ncar computers, and in my home directory, in my .profile file I add
the following lines.

# Set path for NCAR Graphics:

NCARG_ROOT=/usr/local
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH

when I try to type ng4ex gsun01, i get the following error,

fatal:syntax error: line 0 before or near gsun01n
ng4ex gsun01n
------------^

fatal:error in statement

Please can someone help.
