:-)
Good morning!

That's the problem.

OS--> OpenSuse 11 (with gcc version 4.3.1 20080507)
HW--> standard (old) Siemens PC

I've tried to install precompiled binary of NCL
(ncl_ncarg-5.0.0.Linux_i686_gcc4.tar.gz).

No problem (apparently) to run ncl.

But when I run "ncargex cpex08" I get the following error included in the
file debug.txt (ncar problem, I think).

I've also installed the g2lib-1.1.7 and g2clib-1.1.7 and copied
in /usr/local/lib the libg2.a and libgrib2c.a library and modified the
compiling string in:

g77 -fPIC -fno-second-underscore -O -o cpex08 cpexcc.f cpex08.f
-L/usr/local/lib -lg2 -lgrib2c -L/opt/ncar5/lib -lncarg -lncarg_gks
-lncarg_c -lX11 -lXext

(g77 is a symbolic link to gfortran: no g77 in openSUse 11)

But no news, with a big compiling error... :-(

My opinion is that something is changed in new gfortran from version 4.1
to version 4.3...

Thanks in advance for any solution.

Ciao.
Umberto
