[ncarg-talk] X11 workstation and mouse events

I am writing a PyQt application which displays the X11 workstation in a Qt
widget using workstation type 7. It works, except for a small issue. When
there is a mouse event where the cursor enters the graphics widget or the
mouse leaves the total application window, the graphics widget content is
cleared.

It seems that GKS is issuing a GCLRWK call when these events occur. Is
there a way to set up the workstation with the option to ignore ALL mouse
events?. I've tried all combinations of FRAME, PLOTIF, and NGPICT with no
success.

P.S., I'm still using an old 5.1 version. Anything new related to this in
newer versions?
